Manchester

This will be a super quick post, as I don’t want anyone thinking that I am hoping to receive views based on what happened in Manchester a few weeks ago.

I will say that although I have not lived in Manchester long, I have been born and raised in the North West of England. I am proud of how we pulled together, I am proud of the meaningful words passed to one another, I am proud of the crowds who stood together in grief and created strength, I am proud of strangers offering shelter, drinks, food and safety to others, I am proud to live in a City where a woman reached out to hold me when there were no more words left.

I am proud of Manchester and every person here.

The lovely PR team in Boohoo got in touch to let me know about their current campaign, selling the Bee t-shirts with 100% of the profits going to the British Red Cross Society’s We Love Manchester fund. It’s a wonderful cause, so I’ve included the links below if you want to purchase.
