I love a beautiful hotel.
Even if I’m not on holiday, there’s something lovely about a hotel room. Comfy beds, massive duvets, a big TV and of course, tea and coffee making facilities.
So when I got the opportunity to take a tour of the Hope Street Hotel whilst at CarnLIVal, I jumped at the chance!
You know when you walk into a building and you instantly feel like a celebrity? Yeah, that’s how my mind works anyway. I felt like a celeb walking into Hope Street Hotel. Wooden floors, glass doors, fancy coffee – that’s the sign of a sexy hotel, right?
We took the lift to the top floor to the room booked for CarnLIVal and I was blown away. It was modern, stylish, cosy, with a beautiful balcony. Incredible views of almost all of Liverpool, it was absolutely stunning. I was completely blown away.
We were taken to the penthouse, and even just walking to and from the rooms, the building just oozes class. It doesn’t feel like a huge hotel, and we were told because it’s two buildings together, it feels much smaller. It’s much more intimate than most hotels and so it feels, well, homely. The wooden panelled walls, desk and floors make it feel more like a lodge than a hotel in a city centre. The rooms have either a wooden or bricked style to them, making them look stylish and feel cosier than your usual hotel.
Some of the rooms also have exposed beams, giving it a rustic, cabin like feel. This is especially true in Suite 2, where there were exposed beams and an upstairs dedicated to the bathroom. With a wooden style free-standing bath and an open shower, it’s so stylish! From approximately £119 per night (during the week).
There are also rooms for events, meetings and weddings. If you do decide to have your wedding here, I can guarantee the photos will look absolute stunning against this beautiful building with it’s stunning interior. The building is outstanding!
There’s also the penthouse, at £495 per night, if you feel like treating yourself!
