I’ve been to this place so many times, and it’s graced my Instagram pages even more, so it makes sense for me to chat about it!
Jason and I found this little cafe when he lived on Media City in Manchester and had some lunch. It’s cute, the food is lovely, it’s not expensive and it’s an instagrammers paradise!
Surrounded by hanging plants and chandeliers for sale, it feels like you’re in a secret European garden, unique and classy. Pokusevki has been around since 2005 and originally opened in Heaton Moor.
Director and executive chef Moises brings all the riches in flavour from his birth place in Southern Spain, giving British breakfast a fantastic and delicious Spanish feel.
My favourite are the Pokusevki’s eggs, which is a muffin, crispy bacon, spinach, a poached egg and hollandaise sauce. All the ingredients are locally sourced, so they taste delicious.
Also – their coffee is some of the best I’ve ever tasted. The mochas are creamy and I always end up ordering two (I just can’t help it).
So if you’re ever on Media City, Salford Quays then please take the time to visit this amazing place. You can sink back into the abundance of pillows, admire the scenery and have some delicious food – or even just a catch up with coffee and the girls!
