I won’t chat about CarnLIVal here, because I want it to have it’s very own blog post later in the week! So today I’m just going to do a super quick run down on my outfit for it instead! So today I’m gonna chat about the fashion instead!
I feel like I’m going to give myself a reputation with my fashion. I’m a last minute purchaser for any and every event I go to. Usually I get my outfits a few days before, sometimes the day before, but it seems to work out well so maybe I’ll just keep doing it!
This cute little outfit I picked up on the Wednesday, wandering around with my friend from Uni, Hannah. I went out having no clue what I wanted, but the moment I spotted these dungarees I was sold.
For £30 from H&M, they’re more than I’d usually spend if I’m honest. But they’re so comfortable! And they can be dressed up or dressed down and honestly – cute, or what?! So I’ve decided it’s been totally worth the investment!
I was torn between flats and heels for the event, because I wasn’t sure what would actually work. After all, I haven’t worn dungarees since I was a toddler. And something tells me toddler Furf was hardly a fashionista.
So last minute I decided on a white high necked tank top from New Look and some New Look court shoes. The shoes were wide fit, perfect for long days, so I was able to wear them for a good couple of hours before giving in and putting on my good old faux converse!
The leg length are a little bit longer also, I turned them up and I feel like it looked better with the heels.
I also wore this outfit today with my red faux converse and it is so comfortable. I don’t have the annoyance of yanking my jeans up every now and again (ah, the joys) and also the inevitable large meal stomach is no longer an issue. Hell yes, ladies. Eat all ya like, these jeans ain’t giving in.
Unfortunately, they’re all sold out online, so grab them when you’re out because they’re clearly popular!
