Good morning, ladies and gents!
I haven’t done a food review in a while, which is odd because I literally eat all the time. Seriously, I can’t stop. It’s great. Anyway.
Jason’s Christmas present to my parents was tickets to the Escape Room in Manchester (they did not escape, FYI), so while they were in Manchester last week we all went for food with my brother. My dad is a big lover of finding random restaurants, so he decided on Trattoria Giardino in Manchester (after a random google, I assume!).
I love eating in Manchester. There are so many different things to try, so many places to go, so I was really excited to try something other than a chain!
A beautiful, quaint little Italian restaurant that I’d never even seen before. Still decked out with beautiful Christmas decorations, warm, cosy and with polite staff, it was a real treat. We were given a cosy corner table together and offered a large menu with lots of food!
We ordered a cheese garlic bread and olives to start (along with 3 beers and a Diet Coke!). Then for our mains my mum had risotto, my dad had calzone and my brother and I both went for lasagne and chips (classyyyyyyy).
The food came quick, the waitress was all smiles and lovely. With delicious smells from the open kitchen, high spirited conversation in Italian and the warmth, the atmosphere was incredible.
For dessert, I had Nutella crepes and dad had creme brûlée. We also ordered two more beers and two more diet cokes – and the total was £78!
Overall, this place is a dream. I would highly recommend!
